10 Day Notice!

SUBJECT:

The Northern District Shuffleboard Association recently approved newer versions of the description of duties for each of the Northern District Board Officers.  These changes were adopted on March 31, 2023.  The President, Joseph Inga now requested the same work be performed with the current Standing Rules and Rules for the Master Tournament.  A Committee was appointed to review our current Standing Rules and the Rules for Master Tournaments.  The Committee consisted of Zak Wonson, Gail Howell, John Guimarra, Stanley Williamson, and Tom Brown.  The committee was tasked to review both documents, make all grammatical corrections, modify/update rules listed in the current documents and submit to the District for approval and adoption for the March 2024 Meeting.

Submitted by: Zak Wonson, President of Coronado/Mainland

Reason:

Many of the Northern District Shuffleboards documents are either outdated, have grammatical errors, and have no adoption date.  Some documents date back more than 20 years.  It’s necessary to review all documents so that they can be modified periodically to keep with the current standards as well as clarify our current Standing Rules and Rules for the Masters Tournament.

Rules this will affect:

These changes will affect the entire current rules outlined in both the current Standing Rules of the Northern District as well as the current Rules Governing the Masters Tournament.
