ND02 Any Doubles

Coronado-Mainland Shuffleboard club hosted the ND02 Doubles tournament on Oct 09. The weather was on and off rain but we had 15 teams show up for the challenge so we continued on

Mike Beall, Cindy & Zak Wonson, Jerry Jabaut, Joyce Tivy, Gail Kadar, Dennis Buelk and several others helped clean the courts and restart the games three times during the day

We stopped early due to heavier rain and prepared to come back on Friday morning to finish up. Sadly the rain did not let up and we finally had to delay the games until Saturday morning. Hopefully, we will be able to finish up on Saturday. Thanks to all our sponsors Berlin & Denys Insurance, Davis Bros HVAC, Hall Machine Works, NSB Physical Therapy, Springhill Suites by Marriot, State Farm Insurance, Stellar Foot & Ankle and Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 4250 as well as our club members  as well as our club members, Gail Kadar, Joyce Tivy, Arlene & Jerry Jabaut and Cindy & Zak Wonson.

Arlene Jabaut was our director with Rick Tallman, the ND KOR assisting with the new electronic registrations. See continued report below..

We all came back on October 10 and rain stopped the play once again. We had to sadly delay until Saturday morning. When we arrived on Saturday, the weather looked good, but play was interrupted several times during the day by more rain. Thanks again to Mike Beall and others who patiently volunteered to squeegee and rebead the courts. Here are the final results from ND02.

ND02 Tournament at CMS

Attention all shufflers planning to attend the ND02 tournament in New Smyrna Beach. As the city has not completed their work in the Community center we will not be allowed inside. We will have two tents and the picnic tables for our use but if you have chairs, could you please bring them for your comfort. Appreciate your help with this problem. See you Thursday.

ND01 Leesburg

This is the beginning of our shuffling season. Here’s the people that showed up today for the Northern District men’s Doubles and ladies Doubles tournament at The Leesburg Shuffleboard courts. This tournament was the Dave Dean memorial. The day started off good before having a rain delay, then we were able finish the days matches. Players that won today will be playing tomorrow for final finish positions.

What a great group of shufflers. So sad the city is disrespectful of their elders and is shutting it down.
