If it is possible, could you please pre-register with the club so that they have an idea of how many shufflers are coming? Players could do it directly to them at rodlewis1317@protonmail.com.
Many of us are missing pre registration.
Thank you. Hope to see you soon.
Sorry to notify everyone that the Northern District Tournament ND01 Scheduled for Sept 28 and Sept 29 in Deland will have to be rescheduled due to the weather. Please let anyone know that was planning to attend. Thank you.
Marilyn Mills sent me a notice to be posted on our website in the event some of our members would like to participate in the Clearwater two day Holiday Tournament.

Tom Basner sent me some sad news today, Gale Lynch from Holiday RV Village passed away yesterday. Gale and Ray Parlberg were instrumental in getting Holiday in the Northern District Association years ago. Gale was also one of our ND Tournament Directors.
Gale will be greatly missed.
I have more information on Gale from his obituary.
Gale William Lynch passed away on July 12, 2023, after a short illness surrounded by loved ones.
He was born on September 26, 1945, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan to Lloyd and Irene Lynch. He was reunited with his late wife, Connie Lynch, who predeceased him on May 21, 2010, and his sister Janet Fillhard, who predeceased him on March 25, 2022.
Gale was a passionate teacher and mentor at Ionia Public Schools for over 30 years. He touched the lives of many through years of teaching. After retiring from teaching, he began his second passion, raising miniature horses with Alvadar Horses.
After Gale’s hunting accident in 2002, he and his late wife Connie moved to Leesburg, Florida in 2006, where they called the Holiday RV Village their home. There they became avid shuffleboard players and tournament organizers. In addition to shuffleboard, he was an avid fisherman, hunter, and woodworker, most recently designing and creating intricate wood signs for family and friends.
Surviving him are his son, Jeff (Maritza) Lynch; daughter Deb (John) Fitzgerald; eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and his longtime partner, Susan Djiovanis.
A memorial service is planned for early 2024 in the Leesburg, Florida area where Gale called home for the past 15 + years. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked for donations to be made to a charity of your choice in memory of Gale.
Arrangements entrusted to Beyers Funeral Home of Leesburg, Florida.
