Please make sure your Amateurs are notified of these changes, so they don’t go to the wrong location.

Coronado/Mainland Shuffleboard Club hosted the ND10 Pro Only and Amateur Only Tournament on Nov 30 and Dec 1, 2023. The weather started very chilly but soon warmed up. Our volunteers were there with hot coffee and donuts to get the day started and set up the courts. Cindy and Zak Wonson were our directors and our sponsors were Complete Health, Davis Bros HVAC, G&W Roofing, Highpoint Capital, NBS Homes, NSB Physical Therapy, Springhill Suites, State Farm Ins. Stellar Foot & Ankle, Town&Country Cooling, Kevin Para, Arlene & Jerry Jabaut, Gail Kadar, The Tivy Family and Cindy & Zak Wonson. The Hawthorne Shuffleboard Club hosted the State A06B Any Amateur Doubles Tournament on 11/20/23. The tournament was one long day. Nine amateur  teams came to Hawthorne.  Finished at 7 PM.  Players had great weather and everyone enjoyed the day.  Steve Smith and his helpers kept the coffee,  courts and discs ready all day. Well We Tried! Everyone showed up on Friday, to try to register for this tournament. We had donuts, coffee and cookies as well as cards while we waited for the rain to stop. Several times we thought we might make it, cleaned the courts and then it started raining again. Took some time for lunch and socializing and finally cancelled registration and returned everyone’s entry fee. Hope to see you all back again for ND10 on November 30th for Pro Only Doubles and Amateur Only Doubles.
