After talking with Bob Robinson, I have some exciting updates on our upcoming Director Training opportunities!

1. Electronic Chart Training (Optional Practice Session)

If you would like hands-on practice with the electronic chart, join us for an extra practice session focused on the latest software updates.

  • Date & Time: Wednesday, August 5, 2026, at 10:00 AM
  • Location: Meeting Room, Mid Florida Lakes Clubhouse
  • Duration: Approx. 2–3 hours
  • Alternative Date: If August 5 does not work for enough participants, we may move this to August 12, 2026.

What’s New in the Software?

We’ve continued refining the electronic chart to make Tournament Day smoother and less stressful:

  • Court-use tracking
  • Automatic court assignments
  • Workflow enhancements to reduce workload

Note: If you have been issued a laptop, please bring it fully charged for the hands-on practice.

2. Mandatory Director Training

Mark your calendars! All Directors and Trainees who plan to direct during the 2026–2027 Shuffleboard Season are required to attend this session.

  • Date & Time: Wednesday, September 23, 2026, at 10:00 AM
  • Location: Large Hall, Mid-Florida Lakes Clubhouse (where we held the Master’s Banquet)
  • Duration: Approx. 4–5 hours (Snacks and lunch provided!)

  • Paper Chart Management
  • Refresher on using the Electronic Chart

Note: Please remember to bring your issued laptop fully charged.
