Deland finally held their ND09 Mixed Doubles Tournament which had been cancelled due to rain twice, on January 6th. It had been delayed from Thursday till Friday and the weather, though cold, was beautiful for shuffleboard. Richie and Carolyn Burrell were our directors and the Deland Shuffleboard Club was the sponsor. There were 16 teams of enthusiastic players. Congratulations to all the players.
